Barcelona - The Catalan City
I have visited Barcelona twice for business and pleasure, and each time my glimpse about this city was in a different perspective. The first time I had plenty of time to go around and admire Gaudi's architecture and taste a lot of paella. The second time everything was so familiar to me that I just enjoyed every day of the city life.
The most common questions when you will be in this amazing city are "What's over here? And a couple of streets over there?" Wherever you are in Barcelona there's always something to see nearby around the neighborhood or district such as Catalan architecture, modernism, and contemporary architecture and markets that are a treat for the senses. And the best thing of all is, you don't have to be a great explorer to find and discover all of Barcelona’s neighborhoods.
Don't miss to visit La Sagrada Familia , the Montjuïc hill and see the view of the city,
La Pedrera, Casa Battlo and...
Miró Museum, are a must.
Have a walk at La Rambla and visit the most famous market Boqueria Market.
Spend your time to the famous Barceloneta and for dinner and drinks visit the buzzing Born neighborhood.
Where to stay? Villa Emilia is a great choice!
